Wedding in Vancouver, Canada 2008
Arrived in Richmond, Vancouver 3 hours before the ceremony of Aimee and Richard. Good thing my wife, Anna and friend Raymond Gonzales ( who is based in richmond) was there to assist me- he also just arrived from hongkong on that same day.. I had a prior engagement in San Francisco ( wedding) so my family and I flew from sfo to vancouver the following day ( around 7am flight ).. As soon as we arrived in Richmond, we went straight to the bride's house. The weding ceremony was in Minoru Chapel and even though the chapel was really small I was able to take beautiful pictures. After the ceremony, went to the garden beside the church and below are some of my sample works.. It was raining that day but despite it the shots turned out well. Thanks Raymond!! The best assistant ever!

I used for the first time my Think Tank modular system and camera bag ..it is so light-weight and can have quick access to my NIKON lenses .. here are some of my sample shots..

Lito Sy Davao launches Virtual Background Technology
The First Virtual Background Technology was launched last December 18-24, 2007 at the Atrium of SM Davao. It was so successful and the Dabawenyos were really amazed with the technology. Everybody wanted to have a picture with Santa Claus in a wonderful, scenic Christmas background. Here are some of the photos taken during the launching.

Nikon D3 sample shots
After 2 months of waiting, the Nikon D3 is finally available in the Philippines. I just got my brand new Nikon D3 with the 14 to 24mm f2.8 Nano coated lens from Columbia last Monday and still waiting for my 24 to 70mm f2.8 Nano coated lens. However, there were only 2 units available from Columbia Digital Sales and luckily, I got one of them. Most of my cameras are from Columbia because of it's local warranty. I was so excited to use it and do some tests. At first I was hesitant to buy it because it is quite heavy compared to my D300. I was blown away when I saw the test shots. The focus was so fast that you won't even notice that it is focusing. The metering is so accurate. The noise is so low at ISO 6400. I even tested it at ISO 12,400 and was amazed with the results. I can even freeze the subject using a high-speed shutter without any flash. The sharpness is so much better than my D300. Guys, this is by far the best camera I have ever used - even my 10 year old daughter likes it because of the capability to shoot at 11 frames per second. Here are some sample shots from my wedding coverage in Tagaytay last Tuesday and during our christmas party in Davao last Wednesday. Notice the action shots taken during the party. Hope you'll like it! :)
